We are delivering a S7-300 system with two CP 342-5 modules. We will be slave to two S7-400 systems fitted with two CP 443-5 (out of our scope).

I have made two DB's with data to be SEND and RECEIVED. I point to these DB's at the DP_RECV/DP_SEND  blocks.

My question is, my understanding is that I do not have to do anything more on my end to make this work?

Do I need to supply my client with a GSD file of my system, so that they can set it up on their end. Or could they use a generic device?

Am I forgetting anything?

I don´t know if it works, that the S7-300 Station is Slave to two Masters.

but I had a look to this manual page 133:

CPU-CPU Communication with SIMATIC Controllers

It is possible to communicate, like you want, but maybe on another way, like the S7-300 is Server for PUT/GET. Therefore you don´t need a CP.

I think same, you don't need to do else, maybe check if I understand ok, both CP-342 must use its own DP_SEND/RCV FBs with own DBs and these are called cyclically.
