S7 300 with SIGMA II by Profibus..??

UMENCHO Diamond Expert Joined: 3/21/2006 Last visit: 10/7/2024 Posts: 10229 Rating: (1181)	Hello, To connect Omron SIGMA II by profibus you will need JUSP-NS500 PROFIBUS-DP unit. The necessary GSD file (way how Simatic CPu will recognize drive), is delivered with MOTION TOOLS CD. About connection look at PROFIBUS-DP unit. For exchange data with drive you could use simple L(load) and T(transfer) commnads or SFC14 and SFC15 functions. Best regards, Hristo Mihalev
