Iam not worried for Wincc But i am worried for DCS communication. Iam already using 313C-2DP as a master with ET200S IO's.

dchartier Grandmaster-Expert Joined: 9/27/2006 Last visit: 3/19/2025 Posts: 12344 Rating: (2707)	Hello manohan; For all WinCC communication issues, please have a look at the following manual : WinCC: Communication If you have a different version of WinCC, look for the specific communication manual for that versionon the forum Support Pages, using the search box at the right. But you will find that as far as interfaces are required the information does not change very much between versions. MPI, Profibus and various other protocols for S7 PLCs are handled in WinCC as part of a S7 Protocol Suite channel. The interfaces required for establishing the comm link between the WinCC PC and the PLC are described briefly in the attached document. You could also use Profibus-DP, if you are using it with remote IO stations. Simply use the S7 Protocol Suite channel in WinCC (either MPPI or Profibus) and reate your tags there. Port one is a MPI port, and the second port is a Profibus port. Yes, you can use port one (MPI) for WinCC communication and at the same time use port two (Profibus) as a Profibus master.
