S7 314C-2 DP Troubleshooting help needed

Sashi Ramesh Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	We have a S7 314C-2 DP PLC, which was not yet commisioned but was tested some time back. Now we replaced a DI module with a AO module and updated the HW configuration in the PG and tried to download the HW config into the PLC. When trying to do that the PLC threw a "Out of memory" error and gave an option to compress the existing program, but there was still no memory. So what would be the the best way to delete the entire memory in the PLC and download the updated program.

Sundar babu Posts: 39 Rating: (0)	Hi, Use the Master Reset (MRES) toggle switchto reset it completely. Your program will also gets deleted if u perform this operation.

Hello Sashi, First Upload the Project then go to the CPU diagnostic. & in the Memeory Tab see how much memory is used... then if you have a backup then clear reset & download first Hardware & then Progarm, may be during the block downlaod it will ask for the compress option ......!!!!!! have a fun.....
