S7-315-2DP communication with Master Drive Sinec L2

Hi,
I have a scenario in which S7-315-2DP is communicating with three Masterdrives CB1 (6SE7090-0XX84-0AK0) and OP37 HMI via Sinec L2 (6GK1500-0AA00). Below is network topology

My task is to replace one of the Masterdrives-CB1 with ABB drive. I was wondering if Sinec L2 is compatible with Profibus DP, after browsing the forum it is still unclear. Some threads state that it is compatible with limited baudrates (which in my case is not a problem) while others say that they are two entirely different animals.

Will the ABB drive communicate over Sinec L2 bus (if we replace the last CB1 in above diagram with ABB drive with no other changes to network), configured as a Profibus DP slave? or will we have to lay another cable from PLC to the drive and use a DP-DP coupler to hook PB and Sinec-L2 networks together?

What is the best solution for this case?

Thanks for the valuable information. Does the Master drive CB1 board (6SE7090-0XX84-0AK0) support Profibus DP? What if I remove the Sinec L2 bus terminals and connect drives via profibus directly to S7-315-2DP? Also is the Sinec L2 bus terminal (6GK1500-0AA00) a Sinec-Profibus gateway/protocol converter?

Could you possibly give links to manuals of both the mentioned devices?

The Masterdrive with CB1 board does attach to Profibus, see the gsd file in the following link:

Here is the information you asked for on the Sinec L2 network, and on the Sinec L2 bus connector you would like to use with Profibus DP:

All in all, there is no ffirmation from Siemens that you can easily pass from a Sinec L2 network to Profibus-DP directly. But the information you can find in those links point towards a possibility, in this case. Please do your tests and come back to us with any questions.
