I have a program in the CPU, which is total of less than 1MB size, when I download the program in CPU memory, it works fine. However I also want to save theArchived program in PLC memory, when I save the program in memory card, it does not accept and mentions the space in the memory card is zero. I calculated and found that the zip file size is only 790KB, and PLC memory has only 1MB of program. IS there any way I can also save theArchivedprogram, or memory card is not functioning properly. |

Hello lucky; What is the size of the MMC you are using now? What function do you use to transfer the data (zip file) to the MMC? Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier |

Hello Lucky123 the following two FAQ's, may (hopefully will) help too: S7-300: How can I find out the size of the MCC so I can store my whole STEP 7 project on it? How can you load projects to a memory card and back again to a PG/PC? |

Hello Fritz and Dchartier, I checked the zip(archived) file size in explorer is about 600KB and the total size of the memory card which I am using is 2 MB, and if I see the load memory area then it is about 1MB. I see no reason why the Archived file should not be able to be saved in memory card, however since I have not much experienced such types of issue, hence I thought of sharing this information on the forum and find out what can be the reason. I am yet to find the cause and solution for this problem. Let me know if I can provide some more information. Thanks, |
