Hi !

There is an inline bus coupler phoenix contact IL PN BK DI8 DO4 2TX-PAC, Ord No 2703994 installed in our plant. This module is communicating via profinet with cpu s7 317-2 PN/DP.

Actually I want to change the bus coupler and put new one. There is 4 bus coupler installed. all profinet cables are connected to the ethernet rooter and then to the cpu.

Please I want to know how to set parameter (IP or device no, address) on this module to be recognized and match with HW settings in simatic manager.

From HW simatic I have IP 10.24.xxx.xx and diagnostic address and device number of this module.

Someone can help me please.

I just used PC WORX to set IP and device name but my version doesn't have complete resources (need license). There is an option "Extras" --> "BootP/SNMP/TFTP-config" available to set parameters on module and modifies parameters on Device details windows.

I am trying to establish connection between bus coupler and PC WORX. No success at the moment.

As I have full license with Simatic manager how to proceed with step 7? In the link you advised me it is possible to do the same thing with Step7 but there is no explanation about this procedure.
