Hello Amarjeet; It seems from the documentation of the TEM system that communications use "procedure 3964R with RK 512", which is an extension of 3964R (S5 serial protocol) developped for the S5 family of Siemens processors. Unfortunately, the CP 340 does not support this combination of protocols. The CP 340 supports 3964R, but not the RK 512 extension;see the attachment below, which shows that only the serial communications processors CP 341 ( in the S7-300 central rack or the ET 200M distributed station)and CP 441-2 (in the S7-400 central rack) support the RK512 procedure. Unless you change your CP 340 for a CP 341 or CP 441-2, you cannot communicate with your TEM system using the information provided by TEM. If you need a commprocessor with RS-232 interface, you will have to choose between: - CP 341 RS232C (V.24) 6ES7341-1AH02-0AE0 SIMATIC S7-300, CP 341 Communications processor with RS232C interface (RS-232-C) incl. configuration package on CD - CP 441-2, PTP-conn,,.. 2 channels 6ES7441-2AA05-0AE0 Simatic S7-400, coupling module CP 441-2 for point-to-point connections, 2 channels incl. configuration CD (without interface slot modules)
You will find information on the programming of Fetch and Send function blocks (for RK512) using the CP 341 in the following document: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/1117397 Hope this helps, |
