Hello Naldi; We need a bit more information to help you out: - first, which model (par t number) is your CP 443-1? A CP 443-1 Advanced can be a Profinet IO Controller, other models can only act as a Profinet I-Device. - also, what software are you using to program your application, the examples we can provide will differ if you are using Step 7 v5.x rather than TIA Portal Professional (add the version you are using). Basically, there are many ways to connect these PLCs over Ethernet; mostly choices are governed by the amount of bytes you want to exchange, and the speed you need to transfer the data. . The easiest (less programming) ways are: - Profinet IO Controller to I-Device. -S7 Communication (PUT/GET functions). The following document will provide a resumé of available communication links available to all S7 CPUs, so you can start your search and get basic information: CPU-CPU Communication with SIMATIC Controllers https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/us/en/view/78028908 Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier |
