Hello; Are you sure about the designation PG 420? The oldest PG I have used was a PG 605, and that was dedicated to the S5 family of PLCs, no MPI interface, no integrated CP 5611. So no connection available to a S7 CPU. Any modelpreceding the PG705 would probably not be able to connect to a S7 PLC.
