S7 API interface for Delphi ?

I guess i have to try to translate the C++ calls to Delphi myself. René

You can either hack the undocumented S7-API functions s7_block_xxx functions or use S7-OPC Server (that BTWcalls these S7-APIs7_block_xxx functions when use &blockread, &blockwrite[8)]). I think you can get easy with S7-OPC Server&blockread, &blockwrite and there are many examples of using Delphi with OPC Client. Dec

And then go for the S7_blocks_xxx. Thanks for the info. If that doens't work i'll try the free open source "lib_no_dave" library but i believe that doesn't support the CP5512 or CP5611 modules. René

Dec PS If you use libnodave, it suppose to support all CPs that uses SCP interfacefrom version 0.8

" I think you are wrong, look on this page: http://www.softwareoption.de/siemens-produkte.htm But I think this is whatRemark has allready found, at 790 Euro. It sounds likeRemark is after making a lowcost tool for backup/restore of DBs on the PLC. Good idea, but dont forget that for using SAPI-S7 you need a Simatic Net license for each installation. Deltalogic has a lowcostbackup/restore tool. 100 Euro per License.

These dudes that owns this company maybe have worked @ Siemens at some point in time and walked away with some source code / documentation and charge E-800 for these wrapers for Delphi around SIMATIC-NET Software. I am currently developing a server application that broadcasts the I/O & memory statusof multiple Siemens PLCs to TCP/IP Networkusing libnodave and C#.NET. The purpose is to gain access of I/Os and memoryofa "PLC Network"over the internet.
