Hi, Here is the example of how to configure CP243-1 in order to connect it with WinCC Flexible. This should be enough information How do you configure communication between WinCC flexible Runtime or a Windows-based operator panel and an S7-200 (CP 243-1) via Ethernet? |

Dear Garryt1 If you have configured the hardware as per darius has send the link below: How do you configure communication between WinCC flexible Runtime or a Windows-based operator panel and an S7-200 (CP 243-1) via Ethernet? (1) If you have made cable by your own then check cable between two PCs or some other devices which are already communicated through ethernet and test the cable by ping command between them. (2) If you are connceting cables directly then I suggest you to use ethernet switch between PLC & PC. (3) If you are using any laptop for PLC Commication & If Wifi is available in Laptop then switch off WiFi in your laptop because somtimes WiFi & LAN may interefere, if both are on the same IP range. I am very much sure that after checking above possibilities your problem will be resolved. |
