If you are not working on actual Hardware....

likevc Posts: 15 Rating: (0)	Yes，if you download it to PLCSIM ,it's OK. But if you download to a really CPU with a Flash card ,It would be appear the errors. I had asked Siemens technology support via tel 400,they told me that it must be downloadedby way of a cardreader for the first time if you use a flash card. If you use a RAM card ,it would be good. But I have no cardreader and RAM card ,what can I do? It is nothelpful by means of PLC-> DOWNLOAD TO MEMORY CARD

CK84 Posts: 13 Rating: (1)	Hello likevc, Did you switch theCPU to stop? you can only change the safety program with either safety mode deactivated orwhen in stop mode. Whenyou download from charts you will be prompted for this, but i'm not sure you get this when transferring directley to memory card. Did you allso check your setting in the hardware configurationthattheCPU is to be used as a safety CPU? you have to enable this setting yourself and enter a password for the safety program.

CK84 Posts: 13 Rating: (1)	likevc, Did you try the "download program to memory card" funtion? you won't be able to download your program to a flash card from the charts. Select you block folder and go to PLC>download program to memory card. This will download the blocks directly to the flash card. Attachment Download_flashcard.JPG (93 Downloads)
