S7 fail safe module

The module connected to E200M, I defined the module address as there dip swithes, the program installed to the CPU and no signal fault appear, when get output from program the signal fault indicator apear on the module. The diagnostics error message is " Cyclic-Redundancy-Check (CRC) Error in data message" Please give advice. Regards, Mahmoud Abualrub

F Destination address in HW configuration, it has to match the Dip switches addres set in your module. 2. Check CPU properties (F parameters in HW configuration)for F Source address (it has to match to your SM 326 configuration). 3. Please post an image of your online module properties when you have such fault, also please provide the fault code. I hope this helps. Regards.

A fail safe aplication requieres special hardware (FCPU's as well as FIO modules), from you hardware configuration i see that you have both, also you will need "special" software S7 F configuration pack (i guess you have it, because it is no posible to compile HW configuraton for FCPU's with out this option). Having said that, an F block (FC or FB)is a logic block but created by means of FLAD editor (which is included in the S7 F config pack), in F aplicationsif you have an FDO module (as per say your SM326) you are not allowed to write to those outputs in a "normal" FC or FB, you shall write those in an F-FB or F-FC. Well i thing is time to you continue your research, if you have more questions please let us know. Plase Review some FAQs. Regards.
