Hello shiv My S7-Graph knowledge is somewhat rusty (haven't used it for a while and wouldn't call myself a power user of it either), but one way I could think of is this: Programa "normal" FC or FB (e.g. in STL, LAD, FBD or SCL) and make ithandle the "execute statement 1,statement2" etc. conditions based on the value of an IN parameter. Once done simply call this FC/FB from your S7-Graph Step and pass on the "parameter" value. I hope this helps and perhaps somene out there may have a better or simpler idea. |

Hello again shiv Calling an FC of FB from within a Step is allowed in S7-Graph so you are strictly speaking not deviating from it. You are however "loosing" out on being able to visualise what going on inside that Step by simply looking at the S7 Graph sequence. You originally said that "different statements are to be executed dependingon a parameter value" and that you'd like to do so in a single Step. If you were to let go of the single Step requirement though, you can utilise the so called "alternative branch" for this quite easily and would as such no longer be "deviating" from "pure" S7-Graph display. Attached is a quick and nasty example on how this would/could look like. Ihope this helps and good luck with your project |
