Hello everybody. Recently installed PLCSIM V5.4 SP3 with a hope to try multiprocessor simulation. As declared by SIEMENS in S7-PLCSIM V5.4 SP3 Released for Delivery , "Multiple startability (multi-instance capability) and communication support between the simulated CPUs (simulation instance)" is supported in this version Several instances can be started simultaneously all right, each having its window name S7-PLCSIM1, S7-PLCSIM2, etc. BUT!!! External applications may communicate via COM-object S7ProSim only with a first instance named S7-PLCSIM1 ! Moreover, as far as i'm concerned, there are no settings inS7ProSim to specify wich instance you want to access Can anybody tell is this a bug or featue? |

Use the ConnectExt method. Doesn't seem to be in the documentation, it is available however. |
