You know that with S7SCL you can program with Pascal language, but i wanted to know if there is a way to program from Visual basic, or Basic the Step 7 Thanks in advance Regards!

I've searched the external source that one can insert I didn't find VBS among them. but her some alternatives : 1- you can use VBS as a script in wincc flexibe . 2- you can use VBS to monitor S7 plc that's all i know, i hope one of our experts will help us answer that or correct it. hope this will help regards Abdelaal

More over you I do not think that it's expensive as I always see that you may spend some money to make the life easy and comfortable. The same applies here. You will spend some mone to make the programming easy and rich and also you will save your time! So you are the winner. More over you can find support here and there if you use simatic manager for programming Siemens PLC. But if you used VB, .... I am not sure! With best regards,

I was looking for someway to program siemens PLC with visual basic for the flexibility on complex operations like repetitive loops, arrays arrangments, etc. Siemens it self knows the limitations that Simatic has for that reason they create the S7SCL with Pascal Language... and it is also known that Microsoft create the Step 7 and much of the siemens software for Siemens... So i was wondering, if there is a compiler for Pascal, is there one for Visual Basic? (language that i was using ever) But i was affraid of something like abdelaal said, so i must keep looking...
