I've done the S7 programming course 1, I learnt a lot of the basics about Step 7 and I've been using the software for a while now. I would like to know what material is covered in PRO2 course. I want to know a detailed content layout, because I did check the Siemens training site, it is very vague about what is content is covered. I want o learn on my own with a simulator since there are no training been conducted because of Covid-19.

Writing user messages in the Diagnostic Buffer

Troubleshooting and error messages with an HMI Touch Panel

Each of the above topic areas are backed up by practical exercises using a system model, consisting of the S7- 300 automation system, the ET200S distributed peripheral, an HMI touch panel, the MM420 drive and a conveyor model. Working examples are provided and tested out during the course.

Siemens has also prepared tutorials for self-learning (free downloadable) that parallel the official Sitrain courses; they are grouped as SCE Learning and Training Documents. You could use the different modules offered in their website to help you with your training during the pandemic.
