Hi all,

I'm trying to do a S7 PUT from a S7-1512 to a IOT2000EDU software PLC via the TIA portal. Attached are the screenshots of the project in TIA portal. I have the PUT block as part of OB1 in S7-1512 and its trying to put the data field "RuntimeMeasurement_DB.MeasuredRuntime" to "DB_RECV.time" in the IOT2000EDU. And this is not working. I don't see the value in the IOT updating nor do I see S7 communication when I do a packet capture in Wireshark.

A few things I noticed:

1. One of the S7 communication links under Devices and Networks shows "exists only offline" in the TIA portal. How do I persist this link to the device?

2. I wasn't able to find a flag in IOT2000EDU to enable PUT/GET similar to S7-1512. Is there something like that?

not really helpful with IOT (you can check IOT Conference) but pls look again carefully to your cfg. There is some cfg error icon. Problem can be also maybe with not updated cfg on devices due changed cfg.
