S7 Redundancy with Redconnect

shambo Posts: 20 Rating: (1)	Hi Experts, I use S7 400H CPU 414H with one CP443-1 with one CPU 414H. Two CP443-1 use one Industry Ethernet connect with PC run WinCC over one CP1613 card. But when main CPU 414H die, WinCC can connect with Redundant CPU 414H over CP443-1? because MAC address of CP443-1 main and MAC address of CP443-1 redundant are different, do i need to use S7 redconnect in this case? Help me Best regards, Shambo

Somethimes I use the same configuration: A rackfor H Configurationcomposed by one power supply, cpu 414H. cp 443-1 and on the other side of the rack the same configuration. Theethernet cables go to an hub,from whic start thecable that connect the CP1613. Then inyou should create a PC Stationin S7 hardware configuration ,go to Net Proand connect the PC Station toCpu using an Highdisposable S7 Connection. I don't knowwhere you can find more info,I learned thisway froma collegue of mine, more skilled than mesome years ago. Bye, Vittorio

I want to configure the h-system using only one CP1613 card.Can it possible to configure Red connect using only 1 CP1613 card. if so how is it possible? If notis itpossible toconfigure auto changeover mac address in wincc using only one CP 1613 card? Please help.

Only thing to be done is that click on any picture and then doubal click on this script. This script will ask you the IP address of the SLAVE CPU and RACK number of it, provide both this information and you are done. Now whenever the MASTER CPU (CPU at rack 0)goes OFF the WInCC will continue to show you all the data via SLAVE CPU (CPU at rack 1). System required: Rack:UR2-H 400-H system Rack 0 :414-H+CP443-1 Rack 1 :414-H+CP443-1 PC Side: WinCC Others: Hub

You must connect both 443-1 modules to hub and CP1613 also to this hub. In wincc side you must use named connections. Pioneer Posts: 51 Rating: (4)	For connecting to H-Station via one CP-1613 do as following: 1.In NetPro right click on CPU-41X H and selectInsert New Connection. 2.In new opened windowselect S7-connection fault-tolerant as Connection type and click OK. 3.Properties ofS7-connection fault-tolerant will be opened. you can see at bottom of thiswindow avalible connection: CP 443-1 (R0/S5) to CP 1613 andCP 443-1(1) (R1/S5) to CP1613that means two connection between PC and H-Station is avaiable as redundantconnection. At bottom of this window you can see Redundancy (Enable max. CP redundancy (with 4 connection path)). if you tick this option you can see for connections. psan Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	Hi From the description supplied by Darius below I understand that the S7 RED CONNECT software AND License is to be installed on the Programming-PC assuming this is the same device as the final operator PC. This is not possible in my project. The programming tool has to be a separate PC/labtop form where the final project can be downloaded to the final hardware on site some time in the future when the hardware is built. Do i need a second license for the onsite operator PC?
