S7 routing for PG and WinCC

rsarangi Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	Hi, I have 7 315-2DP CPUs which are all connected on MPI. I would like to connect WinCC to these CPUs through profinet. Can I add a CP343-1 to one of the 315-2DP CPU and then S7 routing to connect to other CPUs from WinCC. Is it possible. Any advice will be appriciated. Thanks, Rakesh

J_Bell Posts: 5822 Rating: (412)	Hello, if you use the SIMATIC NET OPC Server it may work... you would have to try it. STEP7 allowsat least the configuration. I see it with CP 1613 on PC side and a S7-400 as Gateway. But be aware of the consequences, MPI or PROFIBUSdo notallow a high data throughput. Best regards J_Bell
