Siemens only proposes Step 5 to communicate with S5 PLCs, Step 5 Lite can be used with the lower-end CPUs (S5-95U and S5-100U). Other packages are available on the web, from other providers, to connect to S5 PLCs. Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier

Titas Posts: 94 Rating: (15)	Hi Sina, There is no direct possibilities to connect step-7 software to step-5 PLC. But you can exchange the data from step-5 to step-7 through different CP. Regards :- Titas
