s7 to versamax over profibus issue

I am using GE Fanuc VersaMax I/O in my power distribution mcc's, it is reporting back to my S7 416 processor via Profibus. I have many other legs on this profibus network and they all read back excelent when I put my sniffer on the network. As for the one leg, I am seeing between 3.9volts and 4.2 volts on this leg with the mcc's on it. I also get a lot of illegal frames. I have tried running all new cable, changing all the connectors, and reducing the speed to 500k. None of these measures seem to help. This problem is on a CSP caster which makes it a real disaster when the communication goes down and I loose my water and hydraulics. I have even tried to setup the VersaMax so it will hold the last state and ride through a small communication dip, but this VersaMax is the only thing on my network that doesn't seem to support such change. I have looked for a newer gsd file and haven't found any newer than what I have now. If you have any ideas I would be greatful.

It seems that something is bringing down the power, are there too many resistors on the network, do this particular slave have the possibility to do the terminationby his own. If the versamax slave is on the end of a segment then check if the slave is giving a good termination, see the connections in the attached zip-file. Try it first with one of those slave(s) and check all the connections..... On which Master are those slave(s), please consider that you may have 31 slaves behind one master (for Profibus the RS485 devices are counting). When you have more then use a repeater RS 485 Repeater up to 12 MBaud - [6ES7972-0AA01-0XA0] please! If non of the above helps then please place the hardware (export cfg-file from Hardware configuring) here on the forum. Please also place the GSD file on the forum so that I could look carefully what is happening. Attachment Connections Profibus.zip (566 Downloads)

BV- Only the last resistor is switched on. and I have the same problem when I have tried only using one node on the network. ( that node was one of the versamax of course) If the versamax slave is on the end of a segment then check if the slave is giving a good termination, see the connections in the attached zip-file. LOL It goes from the cpu to a dp/dp coupler ( it doesn't go through the coupler it just piggie backs) then over to a RS 485 repeater. From there it goes to an ET200s rack then down to my 9 or soversamax I/O modules. If non of the above helps then please place the hardware (export cfg-file from Hardware configuring) here on the forum. Please also place the GSD file on the forum so that I could look carefully what is happening. BV- I will get you the files in the morning. Thanks for your help and I am sorry for responding so late.

Late: It looks like there is no builtup problem, it must be something directly with the versamax, is it checked by PNO, does it have a certificate ? If non of the above helps then please place the hardware (export cfg-file from Hardware configuring) here on the forum.
