S71200 and KTP300 backlight color

Thanks for reply Hello popi, The system function to do this is SetColorBackgroundLighting. (SetBacklightColor in TIA Portal) I don't know why it has a different system function name in help system / manual and in the Engineering Software You need to set a value as shown below to make it work Red - 3 Green - 1 Yellow - 2 RED COLOR: Move a value 1 when M0.0 is ON and M0.1, M0.2 is OFF GREENCOLOR: Move a value 1 when M0.1 is ON and M0.0, M0.2 is OFF YELLOWCOLOR: Move a value 1 when M0.2 is ON and M0.0, M0.1 is OFF You can think of different logic if you it is possible to shuffle the address of Marker memory according to the colors defined (1-Green, 2-Yellow, 3-Red) Additionally the value 0 selects the backlight color to white

Prats Posts: 272 Rating: (4)	Hello POPI, For changing the backlit colour we need to do the settings in the hardware of the HMI. and because the hardware of HMI and the tags are not directly communicating it will be hard to do such a type of change.

Hello Prats, You can do the change of backlight color directly in the hardware, which is one of the option. The other option is you can do this during Runtime of KP300 also. In which changing color to afixed color (defined during engineering)is one option and changing the color based on a tag value is the other option. As you say when there is no communication, still we can come to know through the system alarms in KP300.
