S71200, CM1242 with an S7300 CPU - want to send 750 bytes

 Hello,

Did you finally succedd on establish the connection between the S7300 CPU and S7-1200 CM1242?

I am configuring the HW and SW and I have doubs regarding how to programm the data exchange (I am using FB15 PUT) because I would want to send 750 bytes.

How many slots should I configure in the HW configuration of CM1242 module? I have configure 64 Word inpunt and 64 word output.

Any help?

here as everytime expect some Events/Records in CPU 300 diagnostic buffer. Pls save it as txt file and attach here. You can also attach in next post zip file with screenshots from your HW cfg, pls attach more screenshots from 300 and also from 1200 cfg. Pls keep in mind that (probably, don't know if you incorporated this) in case of use CM/CP card (in this case CM 1242-5) you need use comm blocks in your Slave (S7-1200) to properly exchange data between both stations.

this sounds you have a master-slave configuration, then put7get can not be used.

To help us understand your situation, could you show or describe o us your present configuration between the S7-1200 and the S7-300?

We can provide as much help as we can, as long as we have good information on your problem.

Study the pdf included in the downloads, and understand that with Put and Get you must establish an unilateral connection between the 2 CPUs. That means: only one of the CPUs specifies a connection, the other partner is marked as Unknown. The functions Put and Get are generated only in the active partner (the one with the established connection).
