Hi Experts


I am getting error s71200 internal system error (error code 0x81522b0006fbfffd) while downloading to s71212c PLC

I have gone thorugh some threads like

After that i tried to memory reset i am not able do it

Compiled rebuild all i did still i ahave error


Please help me out

Here are some options at the point where no matter what you do you cannot resolve the problem. FYI, nobody will like these options except your end user / customer who ends up with a running system.

0. Ensure you have the latest service pack and updates for your portal version. V11 SP2 Update 5, V12 SP1 Update 3, V13 Update 1. If this does not apply or does not fix the problem, continue to step 1.
1. Try memory reset on the cpu, update firmware - even if it is latest, update it anyway. Reload program. If this does not resolve, continue to step 2.
2. Recreate your project in a fresh new from scratch project by 1st dragging in your hardware just like you would do for a new project from scratch, select the same firmware and properties as your project that errors. Do this in a by opening TIA Portal -again-, leaving the error project open.
3. Once your hardware matches exactly your project setup, drag and drop your blocks (OBs/FBs/FCs/DBs, groups, custom datatypes, tags, watch tables, and anything else that is causing problems.
4. If there are other objects other than the plc in the project, drag the entire entity from your bad plc project to the new one. Configuration should just about be done once that is finished. Then just link up the profinet/profibus connections as before from the new project.
5. Compile hardware. Fix any errors.
6. Compile software. Fix any errors.
7. Download all to plc which should be sitting there with a fresh memory reset and firmware update ready to accept it.

If you have a problem, then it is something about nesting or scl call depth or some such nonsense from early versions of the scl compiler. Try a newer version of the portal that is compatible with your project/customer/peers (generally you can go one version higher).

If you are using V10.5 SP2, you are on your own as that is the buggiest software I've ever seen. Toss it out the window -- err - dispose of like you would a frisbee disc you never want to see again.

Hopefully this is useful and gets you running. Of course, a backup that you had from a few weeks or months ago and can download and then reapply your more recent changes to might be a work-around if nothing else works.
