S71200 _ Password protection

Dear Team

We have a sub assembly working thro S71200

PLC program is password protected and the designer could not be located

As length of PLC progrm (.rar) is about 4.42MB, i am unable to attach that

Kindly revert if there is any way to disable the password so that we can open and do some changes

You mean your program is protected by password? Can you try this (Is in spanish but I gonna put the steps in english):

-Tree project/PLC/Devices Configuration/Doble click to ethernet port of PLC/Properties/General/Protection... And see the options you can change.

 If it's password protected and you have the program (zipped or not) and have access to TIA then you can reset the unit and download the modified program to it. Just be careful to have backup and of course resetting the CPU if will take it offline.
