S71200 PLC with communication board

sandy1984 Posts: 110 Rating: (0)	Hi, We are replacing an old PLC (3rd party) to siemens its a small air compressor system and we are planning to use S71200 PLC with CB1241 communication board for modbus data sharing with DCS. As there are few parameters sharing to DCS via modbus serial communication. So please let me know if this is a right practice as I havent used s7-1200 for modbus serial communication I have downloaded a sample program for modbus master/slave operation Any valuable suggestion would be highly appreciated Regards Sandeep
