I am configuring an S71200 with a Profibus card CM1242-5 (Slave) which must communicate with an S7300 CPU (Master). To be noted that the S7300 must be programmed by another person to whom I will only provide the Profibus address and I / O mapping. Therefore I configured in TIA Portal V14 regarding the CM1242, the DP slave operating mode, not assigned to any DP master, the Profibus address 10 and finally I configured 2 transfer areas one for the inputs and one for the outputs ( both by 12 bytes). To make a test that everything worked I created a test project in STEP7 5.5 with a CPU 313C-2DP configured Master DP. I downloaded the GSD file related to the CM 1242-5 and added it as a slave on the Profibus network. Here I have configured the transfer areas as previously done (always 12 bytes for both input and output), reversing the insertion order as specified by the various guides. I downloaded everything and connected. Moral of the story does not work anything. Do you have any advice? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
