How can I get exit from any point on the "CAM" technology object? In other words, while the "CAM" point is being processed, I want to get an exit when that point passes .How can I do that ?

I couldn't express myself.

I mean I would like to get the signal from a certain point of the CAM curve while the CAM curve is running. So, not when the CAM is over. When the CAM process is running, I want to get an output from the point where I want the curve. that is, the curve is in the sense that passed through this point.

I was able to tell what I mean?

So, I didn't ask a question to end the CAM curve.

Set up an output cam on the axis which follows the cam.

Or simply make needed evaluation on a setpoint/actual value of position of this axis.

Unless you are referring to its master position. Then do above on this master.

Notice that the axis which position is examined is a master not a slave. And don't even think of using a comparison for equality.

The second network shows usage of an Output Cam TO. The TO is also set up on a master. Comparing to previous method, the TO presents some features which one might find useful. Like hysteresis evaluation and compensation of dead times.

I'm not sure what you meant by above. But my guess is that you asked if your cyclic program could miss to notice a change in CAM's output when program cycle was too long. And the answer is positive.

Code for checking a CAM output can be placed in a pre-/postservo OB.
