Dear amit_86, Please have a look at this link: how do you establish MODBUS-RTU communication with STEP 7 Basic V10.5 for the SIMATIC S7-1200? SIMATIC S7-300/S7-400 Loadable Driver for Point-to-Point CPs: MODBUS Protocol, RTU format, S7 is Slave Best regards, Wizard |

Hello amit_86, OOOooops, sorry, did not read very carefully. Yes also using S7-200 is no problem. Here is manual: S7-200 System manual See chapter 12. You need Modbus instruction library: 6ES7830-2bc00-0yx0 Where in STEP 7 Micro/WIN can I find the operations libraries for the Modbus RTU protocol and ?USS protocol? S7-200: Pin 3 = B and Pin 8 = A. Advise: use a S7-200 CPU with two ports, one for Modbus and the other for PPI (Programming port) Best regards, Wizard |

Dear Amit, You will have to purchase Modbus & USS library to configure S7 200 and then dongle for 341-2 to configure it as modbus slave. |
