MJRVSV Posts: 166 Rating: (1)	Dear Sirs We have got a testing setup, where there are 5 panels each having individual S7 300 PLCs, all r connected to each other through Profibus At first there is Air leak testing, thenthree numbers of Oil Flushing panels and finally oil filling machine Pl refer to PLC for Air leak testing machine There is a leak test instrument which is connected to PLC thro CP340 RS232C, this instrument is in Ready state and getting recognised without any error in the hardware configuration, Diagnostic buffer etc and no SF faults etc on CP340 RS232C module connected with this Leak Test Instrument When we do cycle start, cycle starts from PLC and air also start coming out without any problem as respective valve gets ONbut testing instrument does not get any trigger to start testing and may be due to that although Leak test not ok signal gets generated still air continues to come whereas air should stop flowing after leak test fault Kindly let us know the signal which connects PLC with leak test instument so that we can check why start signal is not reaching from PLC to leak testing instrument due to this Leak test instrument remains in Ready state instead of changing over to dufferent different states like prefill, exhaust etc which are seen during testing set up of that leak test instrument We could not locate that signal which connects PLC with leak test instument Warm Regards, Warm Regards Attachment S149V2_5.zip (149 Downloads)

Have a close look at the Crossref (assigment)for overlapping MW/MB/MD especially those overlapping with single M-bits. i'm sure you find the signals then. Regards, Marcjan

MJRVSV Posts: 166 Rating: (1)	Thanks for ur reply Input address range of 1st CP RS232 is 256 to 271, output address range is also 256 to 271 Similarly for 2nd CP, input address range is 316 to 331, output address range is also 316 to 331 3rd CP, input address range is 300 to 315, output address range is also 300 to 315 Pl refer to artached jpg for hardware config. Unable to get these I/Os under cross reference for I/Os, kindly advice how to locate these I/Os in cross reference because process image field for I/Os is seen as blank they may not be used as Process Image I/Os as well Warm Regards Attachment CP340 RS232C.JPG (122 Downloads)

MJRVSV Posts: 166 Rating: (1)	Sir Actually there is a marker (M) to start prefilling of air, Input from pressure switch indicating 0.4 bar air pressure is reached then a on delay timer which finally triggers Marker for "Prefill over" , all these in series Marker for Prefilling of air gets ON with cycle start, as pressure switch is faulty, just to simulate, we have forced input from pressures switch then input is getting on but 3 second ON delay timer is not getting ON, due to this finally Marker for Prefilling over does not get ON Can u please tell why timer is not getting ON even if Input for pressure switch is coming up we have tried following : a) Forced input permanently with 24V DC - Timer was not getting ON then b) Started prefill cycle then just given 24VDC to that Input from pressure switch and removed 24VDC ie just to give a pulse still timer ot getting ON Please advice

By the way is this the only program you have, it looks as if it's an upload and there are some problems with blockcalls in it. Regards, Marcjan
