S7400 and S7400 communication

Hello,
I want to communicate to S7400 PLC.
They are not in the same multiproject. they have different system and .I need to take some datas and send datas.

one of them has not CP card but in the HW config there is DP/DP coupler.
in our system there is CP443-1
How can I communicate with two system.

First you must decide how will be establish physical connection between both CPU. Without other CP you can't to connect with ethernet type connection. About connection via DP/DP coupler you can do. Now is this DP/DP coupler using or not? Give us more details about both CPU. Is this CPU has own profibus network, quontity of data that you want to exchnage between both CPU, distance between them.

there are two different multiproject.
in one of them, there are two CPU and used DP/DP coupler for data exchange between them.
in another multiproject there are 3 CPU and each CPU has CP443-1 and CP443-5.

Let's start with Which types of connection/protocols are supported as standard by S7-300/400 CPUs and the CPs? So existing DP/DP coupler is not useful in your case. In the other project with 3 Cp443-1 and 3 CP443-5 is more interesting. How is organized communication between them? profibus? Ethernet?

Other way connect them via MPI, but it depends from quontity of data and distance between 2 of CPU. You can connect one of CPU from first project and one of CPU from second project. But in advance you must collect the data from each parther on each project. For me this way is not so good and useful, too many restrictions. Look at Options for communications via MPI Perfect way for me is to buy other 2 CP443-1 and connect all CPU in one network. Easier, but expensive.

For profibus connection you'll need master and slave devices. How you can assign this devices in your case. Once you have 2 Master Profibus devices that communicate together with DP/DP coupler (first system), Twice you have 3 CPU that separately is also profibus master (second system). For your case I think Profibus communication is "not possible." (not the best choice). You have too many CPUs (masters) in both system.
