S7400 plc to PM3000E controller communication using UNIGATE as Gateway

Dear Experts, I want to establish communication between S7400 CPU and UNIGATE CL-PB DP V1. I have set the no. of read words to 30 and write words to 12 and downloaded to Unigate CL-PB DP. Also I have installed the GSD of the UNIGATE CL-PB DP and set the inputwords to 30 and ouptput words to 12. The UNIGATE CL-PB is coming online but I am unable to read/write data.Kindly suggest if some additional settings are to be done. Note:I have also attached GSD file for reference. Hey Bist Interact with the UNIGATE service engineer. There may be some type data length mismatch . Also how are you reading the UNIGATE Data. Can you post some screenshots of your Online Configuration. |

Hello, The most important thing there is Profibus address. Did you set the Profibus address of Unigate? Should correspond to the address in hardware configuration in Step7. How to set it look at manual - CL - PB-e.book (on 37th page). best regards, Hristo Mihalev |
