S7oiehsx.exe application error and blue screen when attempting stanby or ibernation

vdavide Posts: 6 Rating: (0)	Hi to all, i'm new on this forum, i tried a search for my problem but with poor result. I have a pc running XP pro, after installation of step7 v5.4 sp5 + usb adapter 2.0 driver the pc goes to windows blue screen error when attemp to put it into stanby or ibernation also if step7 was unused/not running. Removing step7 solve the problem so i'm 100% sure is step7 related. Also i experience the S7oiehsx.exe application error when the pc log me out after long inactivity. All suggestions are welcome! Thank to all in advance

In Windows I used "MSCONFIG" and in the tab "Services" I unchecked the Service "SIMATIC IEPG Help Service". Restarted Windows and the process isnt running anymore."... i tried some consecutive standby/ibernation of my pc and no more blue screen/restart of windows now. will see better in a few days of 'on field' work THX again Davide

vdavide Posts: 6 Rating: (0)	Hi again, after some days of work my pc is still working fine but seem that S7oiehsx.exe service is mandatory for ONLINE WIFI interface. At this moment, to use wifi with step7 and keep windows working properly , i must start/ stop the service manually. Best regards
