S7Routing between two ethernet cards

For example, routing from IE General (ethernet) on the CP5611 card (Profibus): http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/16620173 In my case the S7315PN/DP is hooked to the ethernet card (1) separate from the Internet card (2). If you want to add to configure (under Step7)two ethernet card there is a warning that he is a one and does not allow her to add. But is there any possibility to use two different networks and access to the PLC from another network without additional firmware, hardware, etc. Of course it is SOFTNET 6.0, WinCC 6.0, etc. ..

J_Bell Posts: 5822 Rating: (412)	Hello, well, we can say there are ways, this is the answer you will like... I guess. But the part you will not like is, sadly not with SOFTNET Cards. A standard NIC will not do the job the way you want. In this special case you will have to use at least one HARDNET card, like the CP 1613 or CP 1623. If you use these cards you have more than one Ethernet interface. Well, this solution is really expensive, but there might be another solution. Have you ever spend a thought on building a Network bridge between two networks at your PC? Well, communication may be hard in both directions, but PG communication should work, from my perspective. The PC would act as a Router in this case. Best regards J_Bell

I have read some where You can connect the two cards. Please find the manuals attached.
