S7T Acceptance test required

Hi All,

I had the strangest thing happen, So a G120 PU breaks, and I replace it. After replacing the PU, the CU gave an error that an acceptance test of the safety integrated drive was needed.

Using S7Technology 4.2 SP5 I cannot compleat the acceptance test. It stops working when it tries to connect to the device.  I can only theorize that it is because the HW config was originally made with S7T 4.2 SP4. 

I could still connect to the drive with SP5, but this test wouldn't work and in Step7 5.6 SP2 Hardware wasn't actualised for this reason.

 I planed on building a VM today running win 7, Step 7 5.6, and S7T 4.2 SP4. But when I came in today the failiure is gone. 

The alarm says that the failer it was removed last night, and I cant find any reason why the failer is gone. 

Can anyone help me understand this problem?

I think, S7T V4.2 SP4 is not compatible for Windows 10. For Windows 10 you need S7T SP5. Or otherwise, S7T SP5 is compatible for Windows 10 but not compatible for Windows 7 Professional, Ultimate and Enterprise. For Windows 7 was S7T V4.2 SP4 compatible.

I recommend also to install the SP2 to STEP 7 V5.6:
