Do you have a 317F (you wrote in the header) or a 317 (You wrote in the text)??? I don't know what you mean with "Put remote Safety on the line" You want to add Safety (CPU and IOs) and use the PROFIBUS line you already have: Yes You want to add a remote Safety Station: Yes, you can use a IM 154-8F PN/DP CPU, aIM 151-7 F-CPU or a IM 151-8F PN/DP CPU as head of a ET200 station and run safety in this station. (You can use several stations with this CPUs). You want to add Safety IO/s to a ET200 station and run Safety in the S7-315 DP/PN: No You want to add Safety IO/s to a ET200 station and run Safety in the S7-315F DP/PN: Yes
