Situation:

We have in our project one language (1st), but the client requested another one. Of course we say "No problem!" and started translating whole HMI by exporting all texts etc. The problem occurs later - it is formatting the text in project - 2nd language didn't take the font formatting from 1st language and this is big issue , because project is quite big and has many many screens with many many objects on them.

I know there is a option in options for standardization of font across languages in multi-language projects but - for what I saw - it didn't work backward (it works if I change font of e.g button, but do not work for all objects that already exists in project).

I hope somebody has a quick solution for this - I'll be very grateful.

Dear kkrrkk,

activate the 2nd in the projevt navigation on the left side under "Language & resources > Project languages".

Then go trough the "Runtime settings" of your HMI. Under "Language & font" you can define the font.

A other solution could be to define your own stile. There you can define font and style of your object.

As I wrote earlier

I have everything setted perfectly for 2nd language, and if I start creating my project now it would be no problem, the problem is that all this changes do not apply to already created content.

But I already found a solution.

Tips:

1. Remove all other languages from project, leave only the source one

2. Save

3. Compile rebuild all

4. Close TIA

5. Open our project

6. Add languages and make all setting right.

7. save

8. compile rebuild all

9. And there you are - all formatting in every single language is the same as the source one :)

But I think it should be much easier !!!
