I was wondering if you have un exemple using two différents PLC, such a S400 (Step 7 V5.5) & S1500 (Tia portal).

In not clear to me to set de parametrization of blocks BSEND & BRCV in two different projects.

Attached is a tested example of Profibus BSEND/BRCV comms between "unknown" projects:

CPU319-3 PN/DP+CP342-5 programmed with TIA Portal Step 7 V15.1
and
CPU312C+CP342-5 programmed with Step 7 V5.6

Things that are not intuitive:
1. TIA Portal - Add a master system to the CP342-5 Profibus port by right clickiing it in the devices view.
2. Make the Profibus S7 subnet IDs match in both projects (C5CB - 0001 in this example).
3. Use the CP342-5 slot numbers in the connections settings (10.04 in this example) not the CPU slot numbers.
4. After making changes it is often necessary to cycle the CPUs power before connections are established.

Updated to V17, in two separate projects using two S7-1511 FW 2.9.

This use two (one in each project) S7-Connections with unkown partners.
