Sample program: GET PUT with S7-1500

have you successfully communicated the S7-1500 and S7-400 PLC?

I'm trying to communicate both PLC but this communication has been elusive to me. Please see my thread : Communicate a S400 PLC (step 7 v5.5) with a S1500 (tia portal v13)

Hello,

The extracted zip creates a file called GetPut.zap12.  It is not recognized by TIA portal v14.  I changed the extension to *.ap12 but get the error "Project Damaged" when attempting to open with TIA v14.

Any help would be appreciated.

Can you please clarify me about the input  ID of the blocks put and get? I know it supposed to be a word in the format like 16#100 for example but what's the details should I take in account to define this input? Can be any value like 16#101, 16#102?

Hi,

If you have both controllers at the same project, it’s not so much different. Note that the S7-300 / S7-400 / ET200S CPU’s can’t access S7-1500 optimized variables…

If you work in different projects, note that:

To access a S7-1200 / S7-1500 you should create a unspecified connection with TSAP = 03.01

To access a S7-300 / ET200S CPU’s you should create a unspecified connection with TSAP = 03.02
