Hi, one of the innovations of the SP1 for STEP7 V12 (Released for Delivery at http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/de/76276623) is the possibility to address symbolic tags by OPC (with OPC V12). Here there is a very simple sample project to illustrate how it works.
