Hi, Which protocol are communication processor will you use? Will you use DB's? I don't have sample projects here (only customers' projects), but you just gotta - install your communication processor (and configure the "Set PG-PC Interface") - install the "Simatic S7 Protocol Suite", by right-clicking "Tag Management" -> "Add new driver" - within the protocol suite, right-click the desired protocol and access the option "System parameter", where you'll select the communication process on the "Unit" tab - right-click the driver, and select "New driver connection", to create the PLC connection - right-click the connection you just created, and access it's properties to configure that (if it's a TCP/IP connection, for instance, you'll need to set the PLC's IP address, the rack and slot) - create your tags Well... I think that about covers it! You can find a step-by-step example on the "WinCC Getting Started" manual . Best regards, Danielle |
