Then you would not be able to save the HW-Config. Click on your ProjectFolder in Simatic Manager -->Edit --> ObjectProperties.The click on the "Requiered Software Packages" Tab. Regards / m.f.g

CPU 319F-3PNDP Please find the attached picture for reference. Do the needful. I think you're missing some GSD files and you tried to make a modification in the HW configuration. You also can perform a HW catalog update and see if it solves the problem.

SolutionFinder Posts: 559 Rating: (87)	May be your project folder is set as read only. This happens sometimes if you copy project directly from the CD & the project is not archived. Check the project folder.

RKM Posts: 93 Rating: (13)	can you able to modify in the prepared hardware?If your project is read only you will not be able to edit or modify hte hardware. then the problem is of access limitation to the path saved. RKM.
