mat84 Posts: 19 Rating: (1)	hi I have question about method's thanks to I will save data from DB f.g in excel or file.txt. Data in DB are writing to array f.g array[1..100]. Any ideas? Thank you for any help. Regards mat84

Sydney Gold Member Joined: 1/4/2008 Last visit: 3/8/2023 Posts: 703 Rating: (96)	If you want the online values, you could copy the DB from online to the offline or in editor press the button for open online block (normally the third icon), after it loads press the Save, it will save the values to the offline block. Then you could use the copying as I described before. You could also generate the source, but it's moredifficult to take values from it. Regards Sydney I've just tested it now and havn't problem with the copying even while monitoring. But you could select only the whole row, click on the address.

Concerning the source: in editor choose menu File -> Generate source, write the desired name, in next window choose the block(s) which you'd like to export and press OK. Then in the "Sources" folder you'll find the source. You can open it in the same editor or export (through rightclick)it as *.awl file. It contains the text definition of the block and also the values, but you'll see the format, it's not as easy for next manipulation. Regards Sydney
