I'm having trouble exporting an INT value, saved in a DB, to a CSV file.

I've tried multiple option provides by this forum but can't seem to get it to work.

At the moment I'm using historical data and trying to trigger the logging. But I'm not getting the file.

I just want to log several INT's weekly to a CSV file. They are standstill counters that are visible on the display. I have other loggings running (disabled atm for testing) and these new values must be saved on the same USB stick.

Any help in what might be my solution?

So far i've been able to log a value. But only once and only when I have restarted the runtime.

Two problem still to overcome:

1) Log whenever I set the bit high

2) Log only one value. Now it's writing about 10 lines in the CSV file.

1. Historical Data Data Logs Logging tags: Acquisition mode: On demand.

HMI tags trigger tag acquisition mode cyclic continuous->tag events logTag

2. You get one line for every logged value.

I would use on value change rather than setting bit to1. On PLC triggerTag := NOT triggerTag

But looks like there is not much change. Still more than one line per value. Value isn't changing during the logging.

Also it only will log the first time after runtime restart. If I chane the values and log again. They will not appear in the file.

Practically it should work like this.
Monday morning the logging should be made. That same day someone will remove the USB stick and recover the data and put it back in the HMI.

are you calling the "LogTag" system function to log the two tags with acquisition mode "On demand"?

Yes they are on set demand.

I'm thinking I'll just take the easy way and log the tags "on change"

Pretty easy to write a small program to push the wanted data at the correct day and time to the logged Dataword.

I'm probably doing something. Well I'm pretty sure of it. But... How is it not possible to just add a time and day to when you want to write data to a CSV file? Maybe that's to easy?!
