Saving a Large Array from DB to CSV in WinCC V12 via scripting

For a high speed data logging application, is it possible to take 500-1000 values in an array from a data block and write them to a CSV file once per second via scripting in the HMI? I have found that it is not possible to add entire PLC arrays into the HMI tag table and linking them to an HMI tag, so I'm not sure how to get the data into the HMI as an array without converting it to words or something. I have only been able to select individual bits of the array. Or am I just not doing it correctly? Thanks for any replies!

I have tried creating an array variable in the HMI tag table and linking it to a PLC array variable of the same length, and it only lets me select a single bit (I cannot link the arrays). Do I need to use a script for this? Thanks.

K!ke Posts: 1299 Rating: (136)	Hello, do you have an integrated project? is wincc and plc in the same project? in hmi tags you can just browse to the wanted plc tag and it will adddatatype etc.automatically K!ke
