I have a couple of questions regarding saving of multiple G120 drive parameter sets to an IOP.

1) How many parameter sets can be saved to a single IOP? I could not find a datasheet or other form of detail on the Siemens website for this information.

2) How do I select a different "memory storage area" on the IOP for each different parameter set? For example, parameter set for VSD1 I want to save to "storage area" 1, VSD2 parameter sets I want to save to "storage area" 2, etc.

3) Is it possible to save multiple parameter sets from my PC to an IOP? This could be helpful when a client lost/broke their IOP with backed up parameter set data, and I want to send them a replacement IOP with all the correct parameter set data which is backed up onto my PC. It would be simple if there is a way to do this via TIA portal?

Data sets are saved in ifs/config folder (fixed) but you can copy them to cps folder (custom) and rename them as you want using USB cable, PC and file explorer.

You can save parameters from PC to IOP by simply copying them to the IOP using a USB cable (IOP works as mass storage device). I don't think you can export a *.bin file (parameter set) using TIA though.
