Good day,

 I am creating SCADA for our production in TIA PORTAL 15. I have a problem with getting the signal from the ICP DAS et-7253 / pet-7253 digital inputs. I dont receive them. Modbus TCP protocol.

Comunication is Server (IP 192.168.64.245) - switch - ICP DAS et-7253 / pet-7253 (192.168.69.14)

Setting ICP DAS et-7253 / pet-7253:

IP-192.168.69.14

Mask-255.255.255.0

Gateway- 192.168.68.1

DHCP-Disabled

Modbus Unit ID- 50

Digital Inputs: 

etc.

Here is what I did:

Situation 1:

1) Connection (name - MDB_1_A1) - Modicon Modbus TCP/IP 

Port - 502

IP - 192.168.69.14

Remote slave adress - 50

2) Create Tag (name - PET_MDB_1_A1)

data type - Int

connection - MDB_1_A1

Adress - %MW50

3) Create Screen and my objects (The object must be switching elements of the picture.)

in object Properties - Interface - State - Dynamization - C script - 

in the following objects

return GetTagWord("PET_MDB_1_A1") & 0x0002;

return GetTagWord("PET_MDB_1_A1") & 0x0004;

etc.

Situation 2: 

1) Connection (name - MDB_1_A1) - Modicon Modbus TCP/IP

Port - 502

IP - 192.168.69.14

Remote slave adress - 50

2) Create Tag (name - PET_MDB_1_A1 etc.)

data type - bit

connection - MDB_1_A1

Adress - %i0 or %i10000

3) Create Screen and objects Ellipse (Object changes color.)

in object Properties - Animations - Appearanse - 

Tag - PET_MDB_1_A1 (ets.)

Type - Range

Range 0 - white 1 - green

As a result:

1st situation - all objects in 0 position, but half must be in position 1

2nd situation - all objects white, but half must be green

All objects dont receive signal from ICP DAS et-7253 / pet-7253.

(In SCADA i receive signals from siemens controllers, in the same subnet (192.168.69. with no problems)

Please help me. What is my mistake? Should I create OPC (i dont want), Adress in tag is not correct? Remote slave adress not 50?

I recommend for first check that Server Device with some PC app and collect/familiar yourself with how it need to be poll (parameters,cfg). I recommend www.simplymodbus.ca apps, they are perfect and can be used without licence with some restrictions. After that you can maybe better configure your Scada, you can be sure that Device answer as you need. You simply step to not simple task with polling Server from Scada, you can have cfg mistakes and never maybe have answers from server. Try for first check that Device functionality with PC app connected to it.
