M150[0.0] is a bool.

It is either ON or OFF.

MB150 is a Short Int

MW150 is an Integer

MD150 is a double integer, possibly a real.

I am trying to do scada using indusoft v7.1 with s71200. I want to plot value of %M150 on Trend, but the value on trend is constant to 60% and doesn't change.

That is P#M158.0 BYTE 8 for the correct interpretation of that long real piece of data.

LReal is 8 bytes long.  Does your SCADA system understand how to access LREAL data?

Add a CONVERT instruction in your logic that performs a CONVERT from the tag at P#M158.0 BYTE 8 (LReal) to Real, new tag at a free address for 4 bytes like MD166.  Then use the less precise real value.

It would be really helpful to see your online monitoring of the conversion block that accepts the LREAL and copies to a REAL showing the original value and the converted value.  Screenshot please.  Blindly guessing what is wrong is difficult.

Also, what PLC are you using so this can be moved to the correct conference related to that PLC and control software (Step 7 or TIA Portal)

there is no converter, i just rewired the tag as Real. I use s71200,Tia portal v13. I think that the problem in the way writing the I/O address in the SIETH communication driver. I attached the SIETH driver help , i think that it contain the solution but i don't know how to get it.

I suspect the byte order needs to be swapped to match how S7 data was done in S7-300/400 so your SCADA will work properly.

After the SUB block, add a SWAP block (or search instructions for ENDIAN) and try changing the byte order to a different tag.
